Job summary

The Deanery Church of England Primary School is seeking a part-time General Assistant - Kitchen to support lunch-time service during term time. Hours are 12.5 per week from 11:15am to 1:45pm, Monday to Friday, with pay at the National Living Wage as an actual annual amount of £7,729.

The role involves food preparation support, serving pupils, table setup and cleaning duties, plus general kitchen tasks. Training will be provided, including Level 2 Food Safety, with safeguarding processes in place

Qualifications

• Previous experience desirable, but training will be given.
• Willingness to undertake Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training.

Wehave a vacancy for a 12.5 hour per week General Assistant. The hours will be11.15am – 1.45pm Monday to Friday term time only. The working times may varydepending on service needs.

We are looking for anenthusiastic person to join our catering team from as soon as possible. Dutiesinclude:

• Assistingwith the preparation of food
• Servingpupils
• Erectingand dismantling tables for lunch
• Cleaningthe dining hall
• Washingup
• Kitchencleaning
• Generalkitchen duties

Previous experiencedesirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertakethe Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training.
