The Bishop William Ward CE (VA) Primary School is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to support the Catering Manager in daily preparation and service of fresh meals for pupils during term time. The role is 17.5 hours per week, 10:30–14:00, with a start date in October 2026 or sooner.

We are a friendly village school seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant who has a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual who enjoys using their own initiative, as well as working as part of a team.
Our Kitchen Assistant will support our Catering Manager in the daily preparation and service of fresh home‑cooked food for our pupils. Experience of a similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
