Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a primary school in Hungerford. The role is fixed-term until late 2027, with term-time only hours and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions and adapt to pupils' needs.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the school.
• Deliver planned lessons and activities under teacher direction.
• Lead small group intervention sessions.
• Provide classroom cover when required.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.
• Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school leaders to ensure inclusive learning.
