Job summary

Swale Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated Trust EHCP Coordinator (HLTA Level) to join our team. Working under the SEND Lead, you will provide administrative and operational support across primary and secondary Trust schools, focusing on EHCP requests and securing resources for pupils with complex needs.

You will audit backlogs, collate evidence from multiple agencies, draft applications, and submit robust EHCP requests.

Qualifications

• Proven EHCP application process experience.
• Experience compiling statutory assessment paperwork.
• Experience with children in learning environments.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and local authority processes.
• Excellent written communication; ability to draft legally defensible reports.
• Ability to manage multiple cases under deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across Trust sites; some virtual work possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection of evidence and submission of EHCNA requests across schools.
• Audit caseloads and redeploy across schools to clear backlogs.
• Act as central contact between SENCOs, staff, health professionals and external agencies.
