Job summary

Richmond Hill Academy is seeking an exceptional EHCP Co-Ordinator to cover a maternity period December 2026 to October 2027. You will lead on EHCPs, attendance, safeguarding and multi-agency work to secure the best outcomes for children with complex needs within Rainbow Base in Leeds.

You will collaborate with families, staff, local authorities and external professionals, bringing strong communication, organisational and leadership skills to a school committed to high standards and inclusive

Qualifications

• Significant experience of supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Excellent knowledge of EHCP processes, safeguarding and multi-agency working.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• A commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for pupils and families.
• The ability to build supportive yet appropriately challenging relationships with parents and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), attendance, safeguarding and multi-agency working.
• Work closely with families, staff, local authorities and external professionals to secure the best outcomes for children and young people with SEND, particularly within Rainbow Base.
• Lead on safeguarding and attendance co-ordination and ensure Family Support involvement.
• Collaborate with Rainbow Base and wider school leadership to develop and shape an outstanding specialist provision.
