Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking an Early Years Support Assistant at Glenlee Primary Nursery Class. This permanent post supports learning and development of young children within our Early Learning and Childcare establishments.

20 hours per week, term time (39 weeks), Monday to Friday 10am–2pm, with an hourly rate of £13.80–£14.83. You must be registered with the SSSC as a support worker and hold or be willing to obtain the listed qualifications.

• Experience of working with children in a professional capacity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents/carers and team members.
