Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to manage a cleaning team in schools, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The role operates Monday to Friday, 15:00–17:00 during term time (38 weeks a year) with an annualised pay scheme.

DBS check required; some Welsh language knowledge beneficial; closing date 18/10/2026. Offer includes pro-rata pay for term-time hours, annual leave, and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to train, oversee and coordinate cleaning staff to a high standard.
• DBS check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed safely and to high standards.
• Maintain equipment and replenish cleaning products as needed.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently.
