Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a part-time cleaner for term-time work across its schools. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.81 for 15 hours per week, with pro-rata adjustments for any additional holiday cleaning.

You will perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and waste disposal, using cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety guidelines. DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Term-time cleaning role with up to 10 days additional holiday cleaning.
• Must have enhanced DBS check.
• Basic knowledge of Welsh required (Level 1).
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and emptying waste bins.
• Replenishing consumables and deep cleaning as required.
• Using cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals.
• Follow health and safety guidance.
