Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager for Pineham Barns Primary School in Northampton. This term-time only role runs Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 38 weeks per year, at £15.00 per hour. You will lead kitchen operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive service quality for pupils and staff.

The role requires overseeing inventories and budgets, liaising with the client, and training the team to deliver nutritious meals and excellent service. DBS disclosure will be obtained.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering management is preferred.
• DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental regulations.
• Enhance Caterlink’s reputation for food and service with clients and customers.
• Manage day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, inventories and budgets.
• Be the main client contact at the school and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with your line manager.
• Lead and train teams to ensure high performance and training is completed.
