Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager for Monkton (Ramsgate) to provide nutritionally balanced, tasty meals during term-time with no weekends. The role involves leading a site team, managing budgets, and ensuring Health and Safety and food safety standards are met.

The position offers 25 hours per week over 39 weeks per year, with a rate of £13.98 per hour. You will act as the main point of contact for the school client and drive improvements to meet KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include preparing, cooking and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the location, supervising teams, inventories and budgets.
• Serve as main client contact in school, implementing regular improvements.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training is completed and performance is managed.

Responsibilities
