Aspens Services Ltd is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchens in York. You will help with basic food preparation, serve customers at the till, and contribute to a friendly, efficient lunchtime service during term time.

The role offers 10 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with training provided. There is potential for development through our Learning & Development team, and you will join a growing company committed to quality service for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service environments.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is desirable but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties on tills during service with training provided.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and follow Health and Safety rules.
