Job summary

Manor Leas Junior Academy is seeking Wraparound Care Assistants to start as soon as possible to cover maternity leave. Salary £12.89 per hour, term-time only, after-school 3–9 hrs/wk and breakfast 1–3 hrs/wk. Roles can be shared; some may also become Teaching Assistants for suitable candidates.

• Providing pupils with appropriate, fun and engaging activities.
• Helping develop children’s self-esteem and independence.
• Supporting pupils with general care and needs within wrap around care.
• Contributing to pupils' health and well-being within the facility.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
• Modelling positive pupil behavior.
• Ensuring safe collection of children at the end of each session.
• Food and drink preparation (snacks).
