Job summary

St Bartholomew's CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant for Haughton St Giles CE Primary Academy. You'll provide safe, engaging wrap-around care for pupils aged 4–11, under the Headteacher's supervision, contributing to a supportive school environment.

The role is permanent, term-time only, with part-time hours (18.75 per week) and pro-rated annual pay, requiring caring, collaborative and flexible team players.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of paediatric first aid.
• Experience of working with groups of children aged 4-11 years.
• Good understanding of child development and barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and stimulating wrap around care to pupils.
• Work under the supervision of the Headteacher.
• Be part of a team, liaise with staff to support pupils before and after school.
