Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary pupils with Autism and related needs. You will work 1:1 with Autistic students and assist in implementing a personalised curriculum, while promoting a calm, secure learning environment on-site at the school’s expansive campus.

Role runs Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:15, term-time only. On-site parking and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with SEN needs.
• Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
• Confidence to support the lead in groups and different subjects.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the teacher as planned.
• Work 1:1 with students.
• Deliver group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Support learners in their prescribed structured work across curriculum areas.
• Help monitor and evaluate students' learning under teacher guidance.
