Job summary

Dorset Council’s Café 1HQ at Beaucroft College in Wimborne Minster is hiring an Assistant Cook to join the student-led café team. The role is 15 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday, term time only, with four working days a week and a salary around £8,425 to £8,557 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or cooking preferred.
• Familiarity with supporting students with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work across two kitchens to assist in the preparation and cooking of bakes and meals.
• Serve meals and drinks to Café 1HQ customers.
• Assist teaching staff in supporting Beaucroft College students during work experience in Café 1HQ.
• Wash up and help with the smooth running of the café.
