The Milton Keynes Academy in Milton Keynes is seeking an Assistant Chef to join Caterlink Ltd’s education catering team. You will assist with planning, preparation and cooking of meals to the required standard, with a focus on nutritious, tasty options for students.

This role is term-time only (38 weeks per year), 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with a competitive hourly rate of 12.71. A DBS check will be arranged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard.
• Ensure the company's reputation for excellent food and service is maintained with clients and customers.
• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service, ensuring food safety and health and safety procedures are applied.
• Carry out company bookwork as required.
