Job summary

Caterlink in Portsmouth is seeking an Assistant Chef at Gatcombe Park Primary Academy to ensure nutritionally balanced, tasty meals for students. You will work in an organised team, focusing on quality, service and food safety standards.

The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (38 weeks per year). £12.90 per hour. You will assist with planning, preparing and cooking meals and support the kitchen team.

• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service and maintain food safety procedures.
