Caterlink is seeking an Assistant Chef at St Thomas of Canterbury RC in Mitcham to deliver nutritionally balanced meals and friendly service for students. You will ensure food quality, presentation and safety standards while supporting on-site kitchen teams.

The role is 25 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year) at £14.80 per hour, working Monday to Friday. Join a team committed to great food and safeguarding children.

Qualifications

• Organised, hard-working and passionate individual to join school catering team.
• Experience in food service is beneficial.
• Committed to high food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparing and cooking meals to the required standard.
• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service.
• Ensure food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously.
• Carry out company bookwork as required.
