Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is seeking an Area Catering Assistant in Gravesend to support school kitchens with basic food preparation and frontline service during the lunchtime rush.

You will interact with students and staff at the till, provide friendly service, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and follow health and safety guidelines. The role runs Monday to Friday during term time, 25 hours per week, at £12.71 per hour, with full training provided. Great work-life balance with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Team player in a busy school catering environment.
• Catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service with training provided.
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assisting with basic food preparation in kitchens.
• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen and Health & Safety compliance.
