Job summary

St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club in Weybridge is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to lead daily operations and ensure excellent service for members.

The role requires flexibility across mornings, afternoons and evenings, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while coordinating with maintenance and senior staff.

First Aid and safeguarding are desirable qualifications; salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Front of house and member service experience.
• First Aid certification and safeguarding knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work 5 days out of 7 including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to operational issues and inform senior staff for timely resolution.
• Liaise with external contractors when maintenance is needed.
• Manage incidents and emergencies and document actions taken.
• Conduct health and safety tasks and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Provide cover for breaks to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
• Support cross-departmental operations including Front-of-House and F&B.
