Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment has partnered with a global manufacturing business in Warrington to recruit a Temporary Yard Depot Operative. The role runs 7:00am–7:00pm, seven days a week, with an initial period from 28th September to 12th October and a £13.50 per hour rate.

A full driving licence is essential, and full training is provided to get you up to speed for this hands-on, physically demanding role. You will assemble and maintain wooden moulds, assist with casting refractory blocks, move

• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wooden moulds for block production.
• Strip down, clean and maintain moulds following casting.
• Assist with the casting of precast refractory blocks.
• Manufacture and maintain formwork.
• Safely handle and move materials and equipment around the depot.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Support other production and yard duties as required by supervisors.

Temporary Yard Depot Operative | Warrington | £13.50 per hour | 28th September - 12th October

Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm, 7 days a week

We are currently recruiting Yard Depot Operatives to join the refractory team of a global manufacturing business based in Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hard-working individuals to gain experience within a specialist manufacturing environment, with the potential for the role to become ongoing for the right person.

The company delivers specialist projects across the UK and internationally and offers a supportive working environment with full training provided. This role would suit someone with a practical mindset, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

The Role

As a Yard Depot Operative, you will support the production and manufacturing process within a busy industrial yard environment.

This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and maintenance of wooden moulds, casting refractory concrete blocks, material handling and general yard duties.

You’ll work closely with the wider production team to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach.
• The ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• A full driving licence - essential.
• A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
