Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator for a Teesside construction project. You will lead the temporary works process from design brief through construction, inspection and removal, coordinating designers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant execution.

The role demands strong practical experience in temporary works, a solid grasp of design and risk management, and the ability to manage multiple packages to programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Temporary Works Coordinator on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of temporary works procedures, design processes and site implementation.
• Ability to assess competence of others involved in temporary works activity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all parties in the design and construction of temporary works.
• Liaise with client and stakeholders for approvals and interfaces.
• Develop and maintain the Temporary Works Schedule and ensure timely updates.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements and design briefs.
• Review competence of Temporary Works Supervisors with the project team.
• Issue approved designs for construction and coordinate changes as needed.
• Ensure hold points are established and inspections are performed by competent personnel.
• Maintain temporary works safely through the project lifecycle.
