Job summary

EDF Sizewell C is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Engineer to join the Temporary Works team. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering temporary works across a nuclear construction programme, with hybrid working options in Leiston, Suffolk.

You will liaise with design organisations, support design reviews, and ensure compliance with BS5975 and site safety standards. A civil/structural engineering degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
• ICE membership or working towards professional accreditation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering temporary works safely.
• Liaise with Design organisations to grow standard solutions library.
• Support review and acceptance of contractor temporary works designs.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers and site delivery teams.
• Support governance, risk management and incident investigations.
