EDF Energy Limited is recruiting a Temporary Works Engineer for Sizewell C in Leiston. Hybrid role with on-site requirements, offering a UK permanent position and a salary of £67,000–£75,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will work within the Temporary Works team, ensuring safe planning, coordination and delivery of temporary works across a complex nuclear construction programme, with governance and stakeholder engagement across multiple contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing or reviewing structural/geotechnical designs on civil projects.
• CSCS Managers/Professional level card required.
• Strong understanding of BS5975 and temporary works procedures.
• Ability to read and implement drawings and specifications with sound engineering judgement.
• Experience acting as a Temporary Works Supervisor.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with contractors, designers and site teams to maintain Temporary Works look-ahead programmes.
• Review and approve temporary works design packages.
• Liaise with Design organisations to grow Temporary Works Standard Solutions library.
• Support governance, assurance and risk management for temporary works.
• Contribute to procurement and delivery of temporary works solutions.
