You will need a Civil or Structural Engineering degree and at least three years' design experience, with BS 5975 knowledge and Chartered status progress. The position offers a collaborative team and opportunities to develop expertise in temporary

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in a design-focused role (minimum three years).
• Strong knowledge of temporary works design and BS 5975.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and general arrangements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality temporary works designs for a variety of construction projects.
• Produce clear engineering calculations, technical drawings, and design documentation.
• Plan, design, and coordinate temporary works using industry-standard software and engineering principles.
• Carry out site visits, inspections, and surveys to develop safe and practical engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and clients while managing multiple projects to demanding deadlines.
• Continue developing technical knowledge and remain up to date with current industry standards and best practice.
• Promote a strong safety culture by applying CDM 2015 requirements.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team development.
