The role involves delivering safe, cost-effective temporary works designs and collaborating on diverse UK and international projects. Applicants should have at least three years in a design-focused engineering role, with strong knowledge of temporary works design and BS 5975.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in a design-based engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works design and BS 5975.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality temporary works designs for various construction projects.
• Produce engineering calculations, technical drawings and design documentation.
• Plan, design and coordinate temporary works using industry-standard software and engineering principles.
• Carry out site visits, inspections and surveys to develop safe and practical engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and clients while managing multiple projects to deadlines.
• Remain up-to-date with current industry standards and best practice.
• Promote CDM 2015 safety requirements.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
