Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Temporary Works Design Engineer to join our team across the UK, including locations such as Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and Plymouth. The role offers agile working up to 1-2 days per week from home and a 40-hour week.

You will contribute to a broad range of temporary works design and checks, support tenders and preconstruction planning, and provide technical support for construction-stage

Qualifications

• Experience in temporary works design and/or management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience on construction projects and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Producing, checking and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports and risk assessments.
• Acting as Project Lead for simpler projects, managing scope, programme and budget.
• Supporting tenders and preconstruction planning and providing technical support for construction-stage issues.
