Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Temporary Works Design Engineer to join the Kier Design team across multiple locations in the UK.

The role focuses on leading temporary works design, supporting tenders, and delivering safe, buildable engineering solutions for varied projects. You will coordinate with design teams, contribute to feasibility studies, and manage deliverables such as calculations and drawings while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Lead temporary works design and checking, integrated with permanent works when applicable.
• Support tender and bid activities with outline design schemes and feasibility studies.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Develop positive client relationships and act as lead representative at meetings.
• Oversee design deliverables including calculations, drawings, reports and risk assessments.
• Hold Level 6/7 qualification with relevant engineering experience.
