Job summary

Proman is seeking a Temporary Works Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination, design oversight and safe execution of all temporary works on site in Barrow-in-Furness. You will ensure compliance with BS 5975, RAMS and project requirements throughout the lifecycle of temporary works, including scaffolding, formwork, falsework, and lifting arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of temporary works principles and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Temporary Works Management Plan (TWMP).
• Ensure all temporary works are identified, designed, and scheduled in line with project programmes.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to integrate temporary works into construction sequences.
• Maintain the Temporary Works Register.
