Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Temporary Staffing Lead to strengthen workforce partnerships and ensure safe, cost-effective staffing across the Trust. You will oversee day-to-day temp staffing arrangements, collaborating with internal teams and external providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes reducing agency spend while maintaining safe staffing levels, with a focus on data-driven decision making and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in temporary staffing sector.
• Experience managing outsourced providers.
• Experience maintaining temp staffing KPIs.
• Knowledge of NHSE temporary staffing rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead on implementing the temporary staffing strategy to reduce agency expenditure.
• Act as operational contact for external staffing suppliers and monitor performance.
• Build relationships with hiring managers, clinical teams and workforce colleagues.
• Monitor staffing activity, KPIs and data quality; address issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and governance for temporary staffing.
• Oversee rostering processes and dashboard production to support decision-making.
