Job description

Do you enjoy being outdoors? Tobin is an explorer; he enjoys walking, swimming, and going for a drive in his car. Tobin is looking for someone to work alongside his team leader, ensuring he is at the center of his day.

Essential for this role: Valid full UK driver's license

Contract: 37.5h preferably

Hours: To include sleepover shifts, days, evenings, waking nights, weekends, including bank holidays.

Tobin is a great young man with a committed team around him. He is currently looking to add a few more staff to his team, including a temporary senior support worker to support his team leader. He lives in his own home and is usually active during the day, enjoying drives in his car, the outdoors, and exploring new places.

During the days, you will be supporting Tobin out and about, participating in one of the many activities he enjoys. This can range from swimming, rough terrain or woodland walks, to day trips to national trusts, aquariums, or spending time near the sea. Tobin is a good sleeper but has epilepsy, so staff are needed to keep an eye on him at night.

Tobin likes to be independent, but his team will need to help him with some personal care and keeping his home the way he likes it. There will always be two people working with Tobin. As a senior support worker, your responsibilities will include shifts, both days and nights, plus supporting the team leader in the leadership of the team.
