This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in protecting one of Royal Mail's busiest parcel operations during the Peak Season, helping to ensure the safe and secure movement of millions of parcels across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining site security, controlling access, conducting searches, and ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and regulate the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Carry out personal searches in accordance with site procedures using randomisers and search wands.
• Conduct security patrols and routine site inspections.
• Identify and report security concerns, incidents, or potential risks.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and security reports.
• Respond professionally and effectively to emergencies and incidents.
• Liaise with site management and operational teams regarding security matters.
• Ensure all security policies and procedures are followed consistently.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the typical pay rates for Security Officer roles. Rates may vary slightly during peak periods, and Angard Staffing will communicate any changes in advance.

• Morning Shift - 06:00-14:00 - £16.29
• Afternoon Shift - 14:00-22:00 - £16.29
• Night Shift - 22:00-06:00 - £17.59
• Weekend - Sunday Day - £16.29
• Weekend - Sunday Night - £16.86

Important Information

This role is for a Christmas period. Assignments are temporary and will automatically end once the site closes for the Christmas season.
