Job summary

B&M Retail in Norwich is seeking a confident Temporary Retail Security Officer to safeguard people, products and the store environment while delivering a welcoming customer experience. This full-time, permanent role offers daytime, evening and weekend shifts, contributing to a safe and professional store team.

You will monitor for incidents, review CCTV, enforce health & safety, investigate stock loss or theft, and engage with customers calmly.

Are you a confident and professional Temporary Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Norwich and make a real difference!

In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
• Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
