Job summary

Longdendale High School seeks an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager in daily facilities operations. You will help open/close grounds, maintain buildings and resources, and coordinate repairs while upholding health and safety standards.

Experience in a school setting is valued, a recognised trade is desirable, and a DBS check is required. The role is permanent, 36 hours per week, all year round with a 2-week shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment preferred.
• Ability to work with the Site Manager on projects and repairs.
• DBS clearance is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day facilities management.
• Open/lock up the site and maintain buildings, premises and resources.
• Deal with general repairs and maintenance requests logged on the help desk.
• Work pro-actively and as part of a team, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Develop effective working relationships and be flexible in duties.
