Job summary

Concept Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to work at a junior school in Skegby, NG17 3FH. The role is temporary – sickness cover with a start date of 2 November 2026 and an end date of 23 December 2026. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour (PAYE).

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets and nursery areas, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness to ensure the school environment is ready for the day.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a school or educational environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and high hygiene standards.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Following site cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
• Using cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Completing all allocated cleaning tasks within the required shift.
• Reporting any maintenance, hygiene or safety concerns to the site supervisor.
