Job summary

Concept Resources are recruiting an experienced Cleaner to work at a primary school and nursery in Annesley, NG17 9BW. The role is temporary for sickness cover, starting 2 November 2026 and ending 23 December 2026.

Pay rate is £12.71 per hour (PAYE). DBS clearance is required or willing to undertake the checks. Duties include cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors and nursery areas, with a focus on hygiene and safety throughout the school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a school or nursery.
• DBS clearance or willingness to undergo the required checks.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Reliable and punctual with good hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Duties

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets and nursery areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Wiping down desks, tables, surfaces and frequently touched areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school and nursery.
• Ensuring all designated areas are clean and ready for the school day.

Responsibilities
