Job summary

Concept Resources are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to work at a primary school in Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2RG. This is a part-time temporary position covering long-term sickness absence, starting on Monday 2nd November 2026 and currently scheduled to run until Thursday 31st December 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or school cleaning experience preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check with the relevant Children's Barred List check required.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to the full assignment.
• Good understanding of health and safety and safe cleaning practices.
• Professional, trustworthy and respectful of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Wiping down desks, tables, furniture and frequently touched surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Cleaning staff rooms, offices and kitchen areas.
• Replenishing toilet rolls, soap and other consumables.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
