Job summary

Adecco are recruiting a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for a client based in Hallen, Bristol. The role involves processing purchase invoices, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations within a busy accounts team.

The assignment starts immediately, with hours 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, for approximately 4 weeks. Pay is up to £15 per hour and training on the finance system will be provided where required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Compiling supplier payment runs
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Handling purchase ledger queries by telephone and email
• Acting as the first point of contact for supplier enquiries
• Assisting the Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance administration
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
