Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Rochester is seeking a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver to join our temporary team. This role involves delivering letters and parcels to customers, outdoors in all weather, on a 35-hour week with a 7am–3pm shift.

You will start from the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries, use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and lift bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and time management
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working independently
• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) held for 6 months

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
