Job summary

Pertemps Bond, on behalf of Royal Mail, seeks Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Shoreham-By-Sea. This temporary role starts immediately, with 37 hours per week and a 9am–3pm shift, plus weekend availability.

You will load and sort deliveries at the local delivery office, use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and deliver by foot or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles daily.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (up to 6 points; held for at least 6 months)
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16 kg) and parcels (up to 20 kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required
