Job summary

Multitask Personnel, recruiting for a leading utilities provider, is seeking Meter Readers in the Glasgow area. The role involves visiting homes and businesses to take meter readings, performing visual checks, recording data via a mobile app, and managing your own daily workload.

You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to go permanent. A valid UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and the ability to pass a basic DBS check are required;

£13.45 per hour + bonuses + mileage (30.5p per mile)

Multitask Personnel are working with a leading utilities provider to recruit Meter Readers in the Glasgow area.

This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent opportunity following the initial contract period.

The Role

About You

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Access to your own vehicle for work
• Valid MOT where applicable
• Business insurance or willingness to obtain it
• Must live in Glasgowor the surrounding area
• Able to pass a basic DBS check
• Able to provide 5 years of work references

Desirable Experience

• Customer service or field-based experience
• Using mobile apps or handheld devices
• Awareness of GDPR and confidentiality
• Experience managing your own workload
