Job summary

Fresh has the perfect opportunity for a problem solver and hands-on technician. As a Maintenance Technician you will handle routine fixes, minor reactive repairs and planned maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Based in Edinburgh, you will oversee site facilities including waste management, and you will be responsible for statutory compliance to ensure residents have a safe, welcoming place to live. Start ASAP, full-time hours 9am–5pm, pay £12.71 per hour on a temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance.
• Hands-on approach to fixing, maintaining and improving facilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot everyday issues independently.
• Available to start immediately and work full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and complete minor reactive repairs promptly.
• Take responsibility for the building's statutory compliance.
• Manage commercial waste management operations, including external bin areas.
• Serve as the resident expert on-site for day-to-day fixes and unexpected technical issues.
• Ensure the property remains safe, operational and inviting for residents.
