Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established education organisation in Winchester to recruit a Temporary HR Assistant to join their busy HR team for an initial period of at least four weeks. This full-time office-based role is paying up to £26,300 (FTE).

Supporting a workforce of over 800 staff across two sites in Winchester, this is a varied, hands-on administrative role where you'll help keep the HR function running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR is beneficial but not required.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Professional and approachable communication with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HR personnel inbox and direct queries to the right team member.
• Answer calls and face-to-face enquiries, signpost colleagues to policies or colleagues.
• Record absence information on the HR system and produce daily absence reports.
• Support recruitment and assessment days, including interview packs and room setups.
• Assist DBS checks, including copying identification documents.
• Provide general HR administration and maintain accurate records.
