Blackwood Medical Practice in Blackwood, Lanarkshire is seeking a fixed-term part-time GP surgery receptionist for 20 hours per week, over 5 days, initially 6 months with potential extension. Duties include greeting patients, making appointments, handling results, processing repeat prescriptions, liaising with healthcare providers and general administration using Vision and DocMan; good IT skills essential.

Salary is in line with the National Living Wage.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Practice or NHS setting preferred but training provided.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients face-to-face and on the phone, book appointments.
• Handle results and general enquiries, process repeat prescriptions.
• Liaise with other health care providers and scan clinical correspondence.
