Job summary

A Firstline description: Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Preston is seeking a Goods-In/Stock Handler to assist with receiving, unloading and unboxing deliveries, and move stock to designated storage while keeping walkways clear.

You will report damaged items, follow COSHH, GMP and ISO22716 standards, help with housekeeping, and support continuous improvement to boost efficiency in production. The role requires adherence to health and safety rules and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, unloading and unboxing incoming deliveries.
• Report any damaged, missing or incorrect items to the Goods-In Coordinator.
• Move received stock to the correct designated storage or holding area.
• Use flavour trolleys and other approved handling equipment when moving materials.
• Help organise pallets and stock to prevent walkways and access routes from becoming blocked.
• Keep the Goods-In area clean, safe and organised.
• Assist the team with arranging stock and IBCs when required.
• Follow manual-handling procedures and all site health and safety requirements.
• Complete other reasonable Goods-In or stock-handling tasks during the busy period.
• Assist with general housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and compliant production environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and GMP requirements at all times.
• Support continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the production process. Fulfil all health and safety, product quality, and safety requirements in line with ISO22716 standards.
