Job summary

Right Now Group are recruiting a Goods In Operative for a well-established logistics client based in Colnbrook. This role suits an experienced warehouse professional who can handle high-value products and maintain accurate stock control using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

You will safely receive deliveries, book stock into the WMS, verify product information and ensure inventory accuracy while following health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive and unload inbound deliveries.
• Inspect incoming goods to ensure quantities, product quality and documentation are accurate.
• Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify product information, serial numbers, quantities and supporting documentation.
• Ensure HS (Harmonised System) Codes are correctly recorded where required.
• Allocate stock to the correct warehouse locations.
• Put stock away safely and accurately following warehouse procedures.
• Locate stock efficiently for internal departments and outbound orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate any stock discrepancies.
• Handle high-value products with care while following all security procedures.
• Record product dimensions (DIMS), weights and storage information accurately.
• Work closely with Warehouse, Inventory and Operations teams to ensure stock availability.
• Support stock counts and inventory audits.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policie
