We are currently looking for a Temporary Front of House Receptionist for 3 weeks from 26th June to 18th July 2025. You will provide professional and efficient reception service for the Paul Smith Nottingham Head Office.
The Role
To answer and then screen all incoming calls promptly, courteously and efficiently using the Cisco switchboard system. Take any messages and deliver these to the appropriate person.
To act as a first point of contact and welcome all visitors, offer refreshments if required and inform relevant staff member of their guests’ arrival.
To escort the Managing Directors’ (and as otherwise required) visitors to the appropriate office or meeting room.
To ensure all visitors are correctly signed in/out and issued with a visitor badge.
To book meeting rooms as requested, maintain the meeting room diaries, provide refreshments when required and ensure that rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times.
To open and sort all incoming mail, notify recipients / building and ensure all out-going mail is sorted and prepared for collection and where applicable ensure records are maintained.
To place stationery orders for all departments.
Order canteen and sanitary supplies and maintain stock levels across all kitchens / toilets within the offices and warehouse.
Any other related duties, not specified above, as requested, by your Line Manager
Your Skills and Experience
Experience in Reception duties, including switchboards.
Excellent administrative experience.
Proficient at Customer Service.
Advance user of Microsoft Office suite.
Clear and concise written and verbal skills.
Highly tuned inter-personal skills.
