Job summary

ABP Kingswinford in the West Midlands is recruiting a QA for a fixed-term 6-month contract. The role is factory-based, reporting to the Assistant Technical Manager, with early start times between 5:00 am and finish, and variable hours to meet production needs.

You will support the technical team with audits, label checks, compliance walks, quality checks and record-keeping, ensuring food safety, quality standards and regulatory compliance across on-site operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertake daily, weekly, monthly technical tasks within SOPs.
• Perform documented quality checks and monitor food safety and quality.
• Ensure records are completed correctly and stored appropriately.
• Understand requirements of internal, second and third party standards.
• Understand non-conformance reporting and escalation to management.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis for defects and quality failures.
• Support audits and maintain required process records.
• Ensure on-site products meet agreed specifications.
