ABP Food Group is seeking a QA professional for a fixed-term 6-month contract at ABP Kingswinford, West Midlands. The role starts early, with shifts from 05:00 and variable hours to support production needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertake daily, weekly, monthly technical tasks within the standard operating procedures.
• Perform documented quality checks and monitor food safety and quality standards.
• Ensure that all records are completed correctly and stored properly.
• Understand requirements of internal, second and third party standards in the manufacturing area.
• Identify non-conformances and escalate to management.
• Conduct basic root cause analysis for defects or quality failures.
• Support the team to complete audits and process records.
• Ensure products produced on site meet the agreed specifications.
• Support the site's food safety culture and adhere to company policies.
• Be flexible and willing to work additional hours to meet demand.
