Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant in Leeds (LS15) to join a dynamic eCommerce business during a busy period. It is a hybrid role (3 days on site) with ASAP start for six months and a pay rate of up to £190 per day.

The role involves preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, month-end/year-end support, budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing and posting journals.
• Experience with balance sheets and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting audits during peak periods.

Are you a talented financial accountant looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a dynamic eCommerce organisation based in LS15, Leeds, is seeking a skilled Temporary Financial Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is an exciting chance to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and collaboration!

Position: Temporary Financial Accountant

Location: LS15, Leeds - hybrid - 3 days on site

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: ASAP - 6 months

Pay Rate: Up to £190 per day (dependant on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week (generally 9am-5:30pm)

Car parking available on site

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Producing financial reports and statements for management review
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborating with internal teams to drive financial performance
• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
• Addressing and resolving any financial discrepancies

What Our Client Is Looking For

• A professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
